THE COMPUTER COMPONENTS AND PORTS THAT ARE HOUSES OR ENCLOSED INSIDE THE COMPUTER CHASSIS

Computer Case : -

Ø Tower case chassis is Often used for servers, this type of case is also good for desktop computer users

Ø tower case sits upright and can be as high as two feet and has

              room for several drives.

Ø  It anticipate upgrading, because tower cases provide maximum space for working inside a computer and moving components around.

Desktop Case : -

desktop case lies flat and sometimes serves double-duty (to do duty for two things) as a monitor(an output device that displays information in pictorial form)  stand.

A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF  DIFFERENT TYPES OF PORTS THAT ARE  USED IN COMPUTERS AND LAPTOPS : -

VGA PORT : -

Ø  A VGA (Video Graphics Array) port  or connector, also called a DB-15 port, HD15 port, or DE15 port, is a 15-pin ,  D-shaped.

Ø  VGA port is used for computer video output.

Ø   It is a female port that transmits Analog video.

Ø   (Analog means a continuous signal with infinite variations as compared with Digital ,which is a series of binary values-0s and 1s.) All older monitors use VGA ports. [By the way, the HD15 {high-definition 15-pin} name for the port is an older name that distinguishes it from the early 9-pin VGA ports.]

S-Video : -

Ø   It ia also knows as separate video port .

Ø  It is used for separating black- and -white and colouring signals.

Ø   An S-Video port is a 4-pin or 7-pin round video port sometimes

used to connect to a television.

Ø  The 7-pin port is shown on the above. The 4-pin port is missing the extra pins in the middle and is the more common type.

Ø  It achieves better image quality than composite video(an Analog video signal format that carries standard definition video as a single channel) but lower colour resolution than composite video.
